Joyful Journal!

So I was thinking of what my new years goals were gonna be! One of them that I am deciding to do was encouraged in Relief Society! Everyday on my blog I'm gonna write what brought me Joy in each day! It's gonna be hard, but i'm gonna do it! I think it will help me realize that there is Joy in everyday! Even if I'm having a bad day, I know there is something that made me happy!

When I woke I wasn't thinking it was gonna be a good day! I had to work, and i was not happy about that!Zach had the day off and i really wanted to be home with him! But the JOY that I found yesterday was that even though I had to go to work, I made us extra money, and I got to spend the rest of the day with ZACH!

Our little OUTRAGE!

So if any of you watched the news, you might understand why we,re upset! Two Pit Bulls were shot. I just have to share a comment that was left on the comment board off of KSL.

"He felt threatened so he shot the dogs???? What a load of crap! The dogs were probably running up to be petted. If they were indeed pitbulls, they are obsessed with people. Most of the time, people call any short hair dog a "pit" simply because they know they will get sympathy for being brutal to them. So is it now okay to carry a gun around and shoot whatever and whomever "threatens us"? The dog owners should sue. I would. I have owned pits, dachshunds, collies,a basenji, silky terrier, yorkie, etc. . . Any dog of any breed can be aggressive if not trained properly. Of all the dogs that I have owned, the pits have by far been the best. However, I am an experienced and educated trainer. I have never tolerated a dog that shows aggression towards humans. Pits have been breaded more so than any other dog breed to not show aggression towards humans. How do you think that trainers can walk into a ring with two fighting pits and not be bitten? Ask Vick about that, he killed far more than he saved because they weren't aggressive enough. But stupidity and lack of understanding perpetuates. That's why the "nanny dog" once highly regarded as a family dog is now regarded as a terror. Nothing has changed but perceptions. Don't believe me, do some research! Perhaps reading the L.A. Times article (Oct 2000) about the Pomeranian that killed a girl might be interesting to you. . . "

I totally agree! I'm a dog lover, all breeds! I think that the dogs were prob running up because they were excited....but just because they were PITS! they assumed they were coming to attack!! If that were my dog...I would be fighting this! This is WRONG!
