Engagement!!

Sense I didn't have a blog when Zach and I got engaged. I thought I would post the whole exciting story!

It was the night of Dec 21st. Zach and I planned a date.  He made it so it was just a casual, every weekend date, that we would normally take! He made me choose where we were gonna go to dinner, but he kinda hinted to where we went on our very FIRST date...Tempenyaki!! Its the best food ever! Then we were gonna go to temple square to look at the lights. Well when we were parking getting ready to walk into temple square, he said he forgot something in the car!  He came back with flowers and a quilt that had pictures of us all over it. He said "we,re gonna go on a carriage ride!" You would think I would know at this point that something was up...But I didn't!! I had been begging him to go on a carriage ride forever, so I just thought it was a good surprise! Well we go on a carriage ride around salt lake... and its FREEZING!!! and we get done and go to temple square! We start walking around, and he starts acting really weird!! REALLY WEIRD!!! He started saying that he had the "chilly willies" Who says that? He said it over and over and over again.  Oh yah and he was saying it in a baby voice! Well we go sit down in front of the reflection pond, and he starts talking about how thats where were gonna get married, and how excited he was. just like a casual conversation that we would usually have, ( sense we did have the date set already!) Well he says "aren't you going to open your flowers?" and I was thinking Why would I open my flowers. He starts opening them, and he pulls out a bundle of roses , and the bundle has a picture of us on it. He says "This represents our past, and everything that we've gone through, and how much we've grown together." Then he pulls out another bundle, which had nothing on them, and says "this represents right now, and this moment, being together and having fun together, living our lives to the fullest, not having any regrets, having to make our own choices." Then fhe pulls out the last bundle and my ring is on the bottom of it. he says "This represents our future! being together forever, for eternity, being able to make choices together, and having each other there for everything" then he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him!!! and of course I said yes! and here we are today! Happy as ever!!
