I don’t know why its a womans nature to compare and judge so harsh on ourselves. I will prob. never know why, and I will never be perfect enough to not judge myself.
My husband is always saying girls are crazy, and “why do you care so much” I can say.....for myself, We are CRAZY.
I’m always so hard on myself, and I’m sure all of you out there are as well.
How come, we’re never pretty enough, skinny enough, crafty enough, etc. The List goes on and on........But at the end of the day it all comes down to this.........
The way my little boy looks at me, and makes me feel pretty enough, skinny enough, crafty enough, ect....
He makes me feel PERFECT!

ReplyDeleteOkay, so I just have to tell you that I have totally had such a crappy day now night and I keep having those same thoughts! I started reading your post and you totally made me feel better! Being a mom is the best and our kids love us no matter what we look like or the things we can do. Also I read your post below about him not sleeping at night and Kate actually went through a phase just like that. What I ended up doing was just let her cry till she fell asleep. It's awful to hear them cry because you feel so bad but it worked and she sleeps all night long every night now. Good luck!!
